What brand of frozen drink equipment do you offer?
Alligator Ice offers the Bunn Ultra II and Bunn Ultra I slush machines from Bunn-O-Matic. These commercial grade slush machines have proven to be the best performing machine with the least amount of required maintenance. If I have any service issues who do I contact?
Depending on your Alligator Ice distributor, you will either contact them OR contact Alligator Ice directly. You can always contact Alligator Ice at 1-866-594-2867 and we will assist you. If the issue can not be resolved over the phone, we will refer you to Bunn Service or the appropriate distributor.

How long is the shelf life of your slush mix?
All Alligator Ice mixes have a one year dry storage shelf life. After slush concentrate is mixed it is recommended to keep the product either in your slush machine or refrigerated in a mixing container. Mixed slush product should be sold through within 30 days. Iced Tea/Lemonade beverages will have an unrefrigerated shelf life of 4 days / refrigerated of 10 days. Shake/Smoothie/Soft Serve mixes have a refrigerated shelf life of 4 days after being mixed.

How easy is it to maintain my frozen drink machine?
Alligator Ice recommends you to thoroughly rinse your machine out weekly. Slush mix in your machine can be drained into a mixing container for later use. Additionally, we recommend to completely break down and clean your bowl, auger, faucet, and removable seals every other week. For gator shakes and smoothies your machine should be cleaned twice weekly. Lastly, there is an wire mesh air filter on the back of the slush machine. This filter is easily removed and should be rinsed at least once per month. Doing this will ensure a fully functioning slush machine.

Is it hard to set up my frozen drink machine?
Typically your machine will be installed by your distributor or directly by Alligator Ice. All that is involved with this process is assembling the machine, putting it in the needed counter position at your business, and plugging the machine into a standard 110V wall outlet. Assembly of the machine takes approximately 20 minutes. A complete video can be seen below:

What are your best frozen drink flavors?
Red and Blue are always the top sellers of Alligator Ice. There are various 'red' and 'blue' frozen drink flavors. The best selling of these are the California Strawberry slush mix flavor and the Blue Raspberry slush mix flavor. You will find that younger customers will typically choose their slush flavor based on color rather than actual slush taste flavor. Due to this, blue and red are always the top selling slush flavors.

My machine stopped working, what do I do?
We get this phone call all time. Luckily, there is one simple way to fix about 90% of your machine's problems. If your machine stops freezing properly it is most likely a dirty air filter. Slush machines are air cooled and when the air flow through the machine is blocked the machine stops working properly. Simply remove the air filter from the rear of the machine, clean it and put the filter back on. Normally your machine will start freezing again within an hour. If you find that your machine still doesn't work properly give us a call. We would be glad to help you.

Will your equipment work for mobile concessions?
Absolutely. More and more concessionaires are learning and profiting from our programs every year. Mobil concessions are a perfect fit for Alligator Ice. Hot summer weather, crowds of thirsty people, great tasting cold drinks - you do the math. Special considerations do need to be taken so that you have adequate power and air flow for your machines. We would be glad to discuss how to ensure that your frozen drink program works without issue.

We would first need to talk with you to find out where you are located and what type of business you operate. We will then get you in contact with one of our distributor partners.
