Alligator
Ice was developed in 1995 by Frozen Drink Concepts, Inc.'s Founder and
Chairman Gerald Smith. After spending several years in the frozen
dessert and beverage product/equipment industry, Mr. Smith saw a frozen
drink opportunity with convenience stores in the south central part of
the United States. The success he had with the premium Slush/Smoothie
and Cappuccino Flavors he perfected made it possible to expand into
other parts of the country.
In an
effort to help continue the growth of Alligator Ice, the company
was purchased by Russ Warner in early 2008. Until this point, Russ was
acting national sales manager for Alligator Ice. Russ is now operating
as President of Alligator Ice and has moved the company headquarters to
Wentzville, Mo. Founder Gerald Smith is still an integral part of the
Alligator
Ice team as Chairman of the Board. Gerald continues to put his
experience and knowledge of this
industry to work with the goal of ever improving our products for you,
our customer.
2010
looks to be a great year for Alligator Ice with the introduction of our
Iced Tea and Ice Cream programs. Many months of development have
gone into
these new programs. Both programs both deliver great tasting
products, appealing branding, and strong profit margins. To

Alligator
Ice currently has thousands of retail customers supplied by
more than 70 distributors in 48 states. They sell over 25 Premium Slush
and Cappuccino flavors with retailers making 50% to 60% gross profit by
selling a 12 ounce Alligator Ice for $.99 to $1.19.

Dependable
equipment is one of the reasons for Alligator Ice's success. Alligator
Ice provides a complete program including slush machine support and the
supplementing of factories warranties. A toll free "Alligator Ice
Hotline" is available for all customers. Most problems are training
oriented and can be resolved over the telephone.
Alligator Ice recommends the Bunn Ultra 2 after working with
Bunn-O-Matic Corporation to make a great slushy machine even
better. Alligator Ice has also used other machines in the past and have
found the relability and service with the Bunn Ultra machines to be
second to none. Our Bunn equipment offering come from the factory
pre-adjusted to
Alligator Ice specifications and with complimentary Graphics (P.O.P. /
P.O.S.).
